(S04E10) Season four of
Weeds has been a season of breakthroughs. Ever since Nancy left Agrestic and started over, she's been re-examining her life and coming to terms with her personal failures. The big question is: Will she ever truly change her behavior?
Her self-awareness has yielded some positive results, like her dinner table apology and her throwdown with Lisa, but we've yet to see any significant changes. Will this week's discovery make a difference?

(S04E09) It appears that Nancy is growing up, and it only took four seasons for it to happen. She dealt with mature relationship issues and had a calm, romantic moment with Esteban. I was thrilled that she finally made good on her promise to be more available to her family, going MILF-a-MILF with Lisa and dealing with Shane's kinky flea-scratching. Her responsible behavior also made up for Celia's descent into coke-fiendom.

The summer has been filled with
Entourage casting news, hasn't it? Every few weeks it seems like there's another announcement about a celebrity guest star. But this latest bit of news should have long-time fans fired up. Executive producer
Mark Wahlberg is making his second cameo appearance on
Entourage's upcoming season.
Wahlberg's last
Entourage cameo occurred during the show's pilot, when he briefly crossed paths with Vince and the guys. This time around, Wahlberg said that he'd have a scene with Jeremy Piven. I'm already picturing Lloyd drooling in the background.

R&B singer Joss Stone is giving television acting a try.
Stone is taking on the role of Anne of Cleves in season three of Showtime's
The Tudors. Anne of Cleves was Henry VIII's fourth wife; the marriage was annulled after less than a year. The role is Stone's first significant part on a TV series. She previously appeared in an episode of
American Dreams and in the film
Eragon.Fans of the singer will have to wait a while for Stone to turn up on the drama series. The third season begins with the king's marriage to Jane Seymour (played by Anita Briem), with Anne of Cleves coming into the picture later on.

(S04E08) This episode definitely belongs in the "mixed bag" category. Some things worked for me and others didn't. Nancy's extended lunch date with Esteban and Shane's prison-style lunch confrontation were both enjoyable. On the down side, Celia's drugged-out craziness and Silas' scenes with Lisa didn't entertain me.
I expected something more at this point in the season, but it looks like things are set up for a better episode next week. Don't give up,
Weeds fans!

There's no such thing as a good time to get arrested, but some moments are worse than others. For example, most people probably wouldn't want to be charged with a crime within a week of their reality TV debut. Just ask Josh Flagg, one of the stars of
Million Dollar Listing's second season.
Flagg was recently arrested for stealing expensive works of art that he had been hired to sell.
When he's not
flying his clients around in helicopters and wrapping mansions in bows, Flagg works as an estate broker. He's been charged with stealing valuable art by Chagall and Picasso from the estates that he managed. Flagg's out on bail, but this probably isn't the kind of publicity he wanted before the show's premiere.

You can always count on
Ugly Betty to feature tons of guest stars each season. There are the celebrity cameos, the hot love interests, and the over-the-top divas. Yet another guest star was recently lined up for the show's third season, and while his love interest status is unconfirmed, he definitely belongs in the "hot" category.
Former
All My Children star
Mark Consuelos is taking on another soapy role in a guest spot on the telenovela-inspired
Ugly Betty. Although the powers-that-be haven't revealed any major details about his role,
TV Guide did discover a few bits of info.

(S04E07) Nancy hasn't completely left her old self behind, has she? After only a short time at Maternity World, she was ready to take on her old operation. Many of the pre-Ren Mar folks emerged from various parts of California. I was strangely excited to see the Botwins' old housekeeper, Lupita, along with Sanjay (now a father to Clinique's baby) and Marvin (10 pounds lighter).
Have the good old days of pot dealing returned, or will Nancy have trouble working within someone else's organization?

With seven separate nominations in the Guest Actor and Actress categories, it's hard to believe that any
30 Rock guest stars were left off this year's list. The men nearly swept the nominees list for Guest Actor in a Comedy Series, earning four of the five available spots. The ladies made up half of the Guest Actress category; not bad!
Still, a few brilliant and hilarious performances were left out. You can't argue with
nominations for Will Arnett and Elaine Stritch, but I'd swap one or two of the nominees with a few of my own favorites. Check out my list of overlooked
30 Rock guest stars after the jump. And yes, I left out
Jerry Seinfeld. Emmy got that one right.

Eva Longoria Parker and Cristiàn de la Fuente were on hand on Monday to announce the
2008 ALMA Award nominations. The National Council of La Raza presents the award annually to Latino entertainers in film and television. Longoria Parker is hosting and producing the ceremony again this year. This year's group of celebrated actors, writers, and directors will receive their awards on August 17. ABC is broadcasting the awards show on September 12.
Surprisingly, Eva Longoria Parker didn't get a nomination for her
Desperate Housewives role, but her on-screen husband, Ricardo Chavira, did (
Update: she took herself out of the running). Other notable names missing from the list of nominees are America Ferrera and Ana Ortiz from
Ugly Betty, who won awards last year.

(S04E06) Everyone was finding love--or lust--this week on
Weeds. The presence of guest stars Julie Bowen and Demian Bichir just made the show significantly hotter. The Botwins and their tenants focused more on their personal lives, with mixed results. Celia developed her maternal side, Andy and Doug pondered their next move, and Silas got to know the neighbors.

While
Ugly Betty's move to New York City might not have been good news for the show's crew, Queens residents couldn't be happier to have the Suarez family in town. Fans welcomed the comedy series with a
block party-style celebration in Jackson Heights, Betty's home base.
Actors America Ferrera and Tony Plana attended the event and thanked fans in both English and Spanish. The
Ugly Betty cast and crew have already been seen filming in their new, more authentic surroundings. As Allison mentioned,
America Ferrera was recently spotted riding a motorcycle in Brooklyn (dressed as Betty Suarez, of course).

ABC must love the Cox-Arquette family. The network's fall season
will feature Courteney Cox in a three-episode arc of
Scrubs, and now
David Arquette is set to guest star on an episode of
Pushing Daisies. This role marks Arquette's first ABC appearance since he starred in 2007's
In Case of Emergency, which was canceled after only twelve episodes.
I'll save the character-specific information for after the jump. Arquette will guest star in the fourth episode of
Pushing Daisies' second season. While he's definitely an acquired taste, David Arquette seems just odd enough to fit in with the show's unique cast of characters.

I usually associate
Real World cast members with drunken barfights, threeways, and tearful meltdowns--but politics? That's a first.
Kevin Powell, former
Real World reality star, is running for Congress in Brooklyn's 10th District. Old-timers like myself remember Kevin from the show's very first season, back when the cast members weren't equal parts hot and crazy.
Powell's post-reality career has set him apart from the typical fame-seeking MTV celebs. According to
his campaign website, he's written seven books and is a successful lecturer and activist. That certainly beats stints on
The Surreal Life and the
Real World/Road Rules Challenge.

USA has recruited Mark Feuerstein for one of its new projects. The actor was recently
cast as the lead in
Royal Pains, a 90-minute pilot for the cable network. As Bob reported back in March,
Royal Pains is
one of four upcoming series that USA is currently developing. Feuerstein will play Hank Lawson, a former ER doctor who reluctantly takes a job as an on-call physician to wealthy residents of the Hamptons.
Jace Alexander, the director behind the pilot episode of USA's
Burn Notice, has signed on to direct the
Royal Pains pilot, which is encouraging news for the series.
